Move over Millennial Pink, Lavender is taking the throne as the color of the year and the go-to hue for the season. From Victoria Beckham to Tibi and Creature of Comfort, the soft lilac shade ruled the runways with styles ranging from pumps to slides. And not to worry, it wasn’t just high fashion that channeled the pastel, feminine shade, high street are joining in with their own takes. So if you’re particularly fond of this hue, now’s your time to shine.
Love it or hate it, hosiery and heels are here to stay. Despite a bit of fun being poked on the trend on social media, you have to admit that socks accent a casual heeled look quite well. After all, it’s time for some much needed reinvention for the year. If you’re tired of the same black pumps you have in your shoe closet, embellish them with some ornate socks and you’ll see how well it transforms a regular shoe.
